As an answer to the Frequently Asked Question how?.
Actually it depends on the painting and on how I want the balans realism vs creativity to be, but this is how I made this particular drawing. And this time the main goal was realism. Hope this gives an image of how I work. :D

the funny thing is that even with your beginning, they eyes are already starting into the eternal. I love your work. You are fantastic.

On another subject...
I researched the Maine Coon, and found plenty of pictures of the breed. I definitly have a petit Maine Coon. LOL.
She is small for one of her breed. Oh well. She is gorgeous. I got batteries for my crap camera, and I will post some of the pics soon. If I can find the time today, I will do it today.

I honestly love this even better than the real work. It defines it more as your own because everyone starts a little differently. Her skin is amazing.. I never can get skin tones right digitally.. Fabulous work.
