And now I'm Done-with-This-Girl.
She showed al lot of resistance during the painting. Her nose too curvy, her expression too angry. But after some considerable Make Overs

she now has the expression I wanted her to have. Good Girl :D

Painted from a reference, about 15-20 hours.

Because her face is not perfectly shaped and obvious asymmetrical and with this undefined emotive expression she is so insanely real looking! :wow: But it seems she tried to give herself a perfect look anyway because she used faked eyelashes. ;) This work definitely deserves to be faved! :+fav:

And believe it or not......I did give her a considerable facelift, since the original pic was really even more assymetrical...:D

THis is very VERY impressive indeed! It's clear that you've developed a technical mastery of rendering skills, but also that you are able to show the fine details of emotion and the, um, tenacity to persist until you get it just right! Bravo!

Is this a digital drawing and if so, do you draw with a graphics tablet? AND, if you do, what kind, might I ask?

Simply amazing work, so a :+favlove: to you!

Thank you for this very sweet and ectended comment. :w00t:
Ye, it's digital and if I remember well it's made in my pre-wacom days, also: with a Logitech cordless mouse :D Nowadays I paint with a Wacom Intuos 3 and I must say, it took some time to get used to it, but now I can't imagine a world without it anymore. And tnx for the :+favlove:

Many thanks for answewring my questions; I too have an Intuos 3 (a 9x12) but I've as yet not had a chance to really spend time with it and get comfortable using it. I do plan on doing that in the next few months tho. :)

I would like to be able to tell all the things I have in my mind when I saw her but I just can't, I just want to look at her.
Is it possible to get a wallpaper version ? Or I can make it just fot my personnal computer.
If one day a print is available can you warn me ? Thank you !
Before I forget to tell you : INCREDIBLE drawing, especially with a mouse !

Whee, sounds like you really like this lady......! I agree, she has the most fascinating look......
If you tell me what your resolution is and if you want her small or big, on the left of right I can see if I can make the time to make her fit on your desktop...:D

And about the prints...I'll warn you if and when.

Tnx for the :+devwatch: and :+fav: and especially for the very kind comments!

Wow. that's awesome.

I didn't think that kind of drawing was possible with a mouse.
Its so photorealistic.
how long does this sort of thing take you?

Oh and I do have a crit for this drawing. (sorry) but it would appear the features don't line up. the nose appears slightly crooked. but not noticable unless you look at it carefully.

incidentally how do you get the lines to fade in with a mouse? i thought you could only do that with a tablet.
