Kitty for the Road

<sup>So....a little 'Roes-speech' for my faithful watchers and accidental visitors.

As you all might know DA can be a rather addictive environment.
No matter how much I like this place and how I love to paint, I guess there's a time for everything and now it's time to pay some more attention to the Real World. (Yes it does exist, really! )
My PC is my most beloved toy & I it, but I hate it for making me such a junk.
So I really need to sniff some fresh birds, hear some flowers grow, watch some spring whistling.
And no: it's not some dramatical 'I say goodbye -can't take it anymore- deletes deviations -comes back the next week -resubmits all'
I'm not leaving, I'm just taking a healthy and urgent break. That means I will be around lurking from time to time, I'll appreciate your comments like before, but I won't be active for a while.
I'll be back, shiney and new and hopefully with new work. And in the mean time I might submit some (kitty)photo's for the road...

Just Happy

Yesterday night my happily surprised me with the sweetest gift: A one year Sub!

Finally I've got the big thumbs, the fast browsing, the stats and all the other nice advantages, but most of all it's the gesture ('I like what you do and want to support it! ) that gave me this Big Grin that I-just-can't-get-off-off-my-face.

So from now on I can enjoy the Life of a Subscriber.

Some of you might remember I participated in the Canon photocontest to win this fabulous Canon EOS 350 D...
Well: the bad news is one of my 26.000 'rivals' ran away with the first price, the good news is: I won the second price: a Canon Ixus 750 !!! So hopefuly this will result in many beautiful pictures. And no...this won't stop me from drawing

Out of thousands my photo was chosen, which is very flattering, plus: that brilliant Canon EOS 350D is almost mine!
